What people are saying about Susan

The seminar was very informative with a lot of useful and helpful information - user friendly. We will be incorporating full inclusion (so I hear) next year...and this information will be most useful. I would love to bring you to little old Bloomfield to energize us! To get us going. I will talk to the Powers of Beings and convince them (hopefully). Thank you for a great day. The 3 hour (this am) drive was well worth it. Lots of info - will have to remind myself to start small with techniques, etc and grow.

The book provided is the most useful book I've seen and received from workshops. Information, strategies, and philosophy is, at least for me, most applicable to all students in all levels of education. As an administrator, I will use these strategies when holding staff and team meetings with my faculty and staff.

By far, one of the most practical and resourceful workshops I've been on. I can start implementing the strategies tomorrow for the benefit of ALL the learners that exist in my classroom. Very worthwhile and wonderfully organized. I was very engaged. : Great energy, I feel excited about all of the strategies learned today.

This was just the "shot in the arm" I needed. I have been feeling that my teaching just wasn't as effective as it should be. I just didn't seem to have the joy and love for teaching I once had. The ideas and new ways of looking at my job gave me ideas (strategies) that made sense and that I could actually do! Thank you.

Facility a bit crowded for walking or wanting to stand. Seminar resource text is very usable, full of ideas and concise. I love it. Susan's presentation is well planned and prepared. She doesn't waste any of our time. I consider all of her presentation as helpful and clearly presented. I would love to have Susan present to our full staff. To Susan: You gave us a great workshop, full of useful activities. I thank you.

Research, techniques, and strategies presented today can be implemented in my classroom tomorrow. The importance of using meaningful visual cues to include color, print, borders and font size was demonstrated and supported by research. Based on brain-research, learning needs to incorporate music, movement, meaningful visuals, multiple intelligences, Bloom's taxonomy and learning styles. I am leaving this seminar today inspired and with specific tools to incorporate these research-based techniques. Using meaningful visual cues, music and movement, learning styles, etc. will all improve student learning. I am looking forward to walking into my classroom tomorrow and re-evaluating the visual cues all over the walls and bulletin boards! I know what changes to make and why these changes will make a difference I student learning.

Very insightful! I learned many techniques that I had never thought about. I will not only use these strategies, but also will notify other teachers as well.
